Rev. Dr. Webster Siame Kameme
Rev. Dr. Webster Siame Kameme (Chairperson, Board of Trustees )
Rev. Dr. Kameme is a seasoned academic, religious leader, and former parliamentarian with extensive experience in governance, education, and ministry. He holds multiple advanced degrees from leading institutions in the UK and Italy, including a PhD in Political Science, and has served in various academic leadership roles such as Vice-Chancellor of Daeyang University and Head of Fine Arts at Kamuzu Academy. He is currently a Research Associate at the University of St Andrews, UK. A former Member of Parliament for Chitipa North, Dr. Kameme contributed to key parliamentary committees and regional representation. He is an ordained minister in the Evangelical and Pentecostal traditions, with over three decades of service across Africa and Europe. Passionate about environmental sustainability, he co-chairs the Committee on Environment and Climate Change within the Association of Former MPs. His commitment to LOT stems from a deep belief in transformative change rooted in human dignity and global solidarity.

Loyce Simfukwe – Political Officer | Experienced Administrator & Marketer Loyce Simfukwe is a seasoned Political Officer with a strong background in administration and marketing, having worked extensively across both public and private sectors in Malawi. She brings over a decade of experience in strategic operations, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development. Loyce holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Malawi and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESAMI, equipping her with a solid foundation in leadership and policy analysis. She is passionate about empowering women in the workplace and has actively contributed to thought leadership on gender equity and professional development. Loyce is known for her collaborative spirit, strategic thinking, and commitment to public service.
Dr. Lughano Kalongolera
Dr. Lughano Kalongolera
Dr. Lughano Kalongolera is a distinguished Medical Doctor and General Surgeon with a strong background in both medicine and business. He is a Fellow of the College of Surgeons for East, Central, and Southern Africa (FCS-ECSA) and holds two Master’s degrees in Surgery from the University of Malawi and the University of Edinburgh. He owns and serves as Medical Director of Royal Medical Centre, a private hospital in Blantyre with a 22-bed capacity, which has treated over 300 patients since its opening in April 2022. Beyond medicine, Dr. Kalongolera is a board member of Bantuworld Limited and is involved in a multimillion-dollar cassava-to-ethanol project set to launch in Malawi. His 18-year tenure with the Malawi Defence Force culminated in his retirement as a Colonel in 2020, during which he initiated a Military Hospital Project aimed at serving high-ranking government officials. Dr. Kalongolera’s military medical career includes serving as a Contingent Medical Officer for the UN in the Democratic Republic of Congo and chairing the SADC Military Health Services from 2017 to 2018. He has held various surgical roles, including at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital under the SADC Military Health Service Team. He continues to contribute to public health by assisting Zomba General Hospital as a General Surgeon and Endoscopist since February 2022. His commitment to education is evident in his tutoring of MSc Surgery students at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Kalongolera’s career reflects a blend of clinical excellence, military service, and entrepreneurial vision.

Lumbani Mbale is a Malawian born lawyer and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with extensive experience in International Business Law, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Transaction Advisory (Mergers and Acquisitions, IPO’s and listings, Debt Finance), General Civil Litigation, Mining and Energy Law, Real Security Law, amongst others He has advised and facilitated on numerous high value commercial transactions across Africa. Mr Mbale holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an LLB from the University of Malawi and University of Witwatersrand respectively. Mr Mbale also serves on various boards of private companies in Executive Non Executive and company secretarial roles. He is the founder of the Firm and is directly involved in the firm’s day to day operations, leading its growth, strategy and client service.
Sally Mtambo
Sally Mtambo (Law & CGIUKI Candidate, LLM, LLB)
Sally Mtambo is a seasoned legal and governance professional with over 15 years of experience spanning the energy sector, corporate governance, and social justice. She currently serves as a Legal Consultant with LM & Company. Sally serves as Director of Legal Services and Company Secretary at Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi. At SADC level, she is Chairperson for Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), Legal Working Group. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Law (in progress) at the University of Cape Town, an LLM with distinction from Vermont Law School (USA) obtained under the prestigious Fulbright Program, and an LLB from the University of Malawi. She has provided legal representation for vulnerable women and girls and has overseen governance for both private limited companies and non-profit organizations. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to ethical practice, regional collaboration, and institutional strengthening. Sally is a member of the Malawi Law Society, Women Lawyers Association, and an Affiliated Member of the Chartered Governance Institute of UK & Ireland.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Malawi (2010) and an MBA with Distinction from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). Angela brings a wealth of expertise in administrative leadership, policy implementation, and organizational transformation, making her a valuable contributor to initiatives focused on governance and sustainable development.
